Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m Lyra Brady. Over the last 8 years, I’ve been exploring possibilities to heal myself from an 18-month mentally abusive relationship, without going through counseling.

​

I didn't want to sit there and cry as a victim - that's one of the biggest reasons. I also didn't think counseling could end the cycle, because I was a psych major.

 

Fast forward to 12 years ago, I was sitting in my psychology classroom. I vividly remember that I read something about domestic violence as a cycle that was hard to break, and I've seen women in the domestic violence shelter where I interned, it seems true that these women just went from one abuser to another, sadly.

So when I just gotten out of that abusive relationship with very little internal power and self-esteem left, I asked myself this question:

How do I avoid getting into the cycles like lots of men and women did? What can I do to prevent it from happening?

I wasn’t willing to let my trauma define me. Then I was very committed to finding the answer because it meant it could break the toxic cycles of many lives.

Through years of intense self-discovery, spiritual exploration, and deep inner healing, I cracked the code. I uncovered the real path to healing my trauma, reclaiming my power, and finally stepping into a new chapter that's filled with love, joy, and unshakable self-esteem.
